More From Quartzsite

Dusk at Quartzsite

Our last couple of days in Quartzsite have been spent hanging with our camp mates. It gave me the opportunity to finish getting everyone’s photo that I hadn’t gotten yet. We are headed out today (the 25th) with plans on visiting The Slabs. I’ve heard of this place before, but have never visited. It is an area near the Salton Sea where many folks live permanently in their RV’s. It is also the home of Salvation Mountain. You will have to wait to see images of the place – it is somewhat indescribable. Suffice it to say, it is a home made mountain constructed by a guy and his volunteers. In the meantime, here are a few of my last images from the Quartzsite camp.
